Spring in a bowl

*SOLD* Who knew a piece of pottery could instantly add a smile to your face. That was the idea behind this bowl. I using colour in my work and this is just about the most colour you could add. Each flower started with painting each section in a different colour (both inside and outside of the bowl). Once I finished painting I used my sgraffito tools to carve out each flower individually. As you can imagine this took a lot of time to finish. This bowl is finished with a clear glaze letting each of the colours pop.
